Nipawin Great Northern Pike Festival

Before you dip your fishing line in the water, make sure you and your family are each registered in the Nipawin Pike Festival!
We release 40 tagged Northern Pike into the Nipawin waterway each spring, hundreds still remain in Tobin and Codette Lakes. We extend the invitation to you and your group to find them and recover the tags for a chance to win prizes while fishing the Nipawin / Tobin Lake waterway!

Nipawin Vanity Cup – Walleye Tournament

Teams from all over western Canada and the United States, some returning and some new, gather in Nipawin, Saskatchewan for the  Annual Vanity Cup Walleye fishing tournament each October.

The tournament has had 160 teams competed for cash and merchandise totaling more than $300,000. A total of 1202 walleye weighed in throughout the two day tournament that tipped the scales at a total of 2806 pounds.

Saskatchewan Premier’s Walleye Cup

The Saskatchewan Premier’s Walleye Cup is one of this province’s flagship fishing tournaments and one of the largest walleye events in Canada.

The Premier’s Walleye Cup is a two day, live release tournament, with proceeds going back to the preservation of the lake resources and development of the lake facilities.
